Foundation Navigation Course
2- day Entry Level Navigation Course from £100 per person, held in North Wales
Course Price: £100 per person for a 2-day course
This course is tailor-made for people who want to learn the basic foundation skills that anybody heading out into the hills should know. We cover basic map work, using a compass, grid references and a variety of techniques for getting from A to B. We also cover techniques for relocating yourself if you should become lost.

You will be learning with one of our qualified Mountain Leaders, and you will get plenty of chance to practice your skills as you progress through the weekend. You won't even need to take notes, as we will post or email information sheets to you after the course.
The Foundation Navigation Course takes place in the area of the beautiful Clwydian Range. It is an AONB, but still has easy access to main roads. We can provide lists of local accomodation options if you are travelling from further afield.
