Bivvying Courses
2-day introduction to bivvying held in North Wales
Course Price: £120 per person
This course is similar to our
Wild Camping courses held in North Wales, but is designed for those who want to move light and fast, without the weight penalty of a tent. It's perfect for those who are already used to being in the mountains, but want the freedom of being able to roll out a bivvy bag on any likely bit of ground and spend the night with the stars as their bedroom ceiling. A lot of the syllabus remains the same, but with an emphasis on travelling light, and some of the tips and tricks that can make or break a bivvying trip!
One of our qualified and experienced
Mountain Leaders will be your guide and instructor for the trip. The courses are held in North Wales, in the Snowdonia National Park or the the Clwydian Range AONB (choose from the Course Dates), and we supply a recommended kit list upon booking. We can also supply bivvy bags, sleeping bags and other specialist items of equipment if you require. You won't even have to take notes as we will email/post detailed information sheets to you after the course.
