The Bushcraft Taster Course
A one-day Bushcraft course near Ruthin, North Wales
£85 per person
(£25 for Under 18s accompanied by a parent or guardian)
This course is perfect for people who want to try some Bushcraft skills, find out what it is all about and to enjoy a day in the woods! It does not require huge levels of fitness, previous experience or lots of expensive kit. By the end of the day you will have learnt to light a fire without matches or lighter, build a simple shelter and how to find safe water.
Our instructor will meet you in Ruthin, then drive in convoy up to the Original Outdoors Bushcraft School in the hills and woods above the Vale of Clwyd. You will need to bring your own lunch and drinks etc, but tea and coffee will be provided. You will also receive a Mora 840MG bushcraft knife (over 18s only) and a Light My Fire Firesteel to take home with you, so you can practice your newly acquired skills.
