Hillcraft
2-day introduction to hillwalking held in North Wales from £100 per person
Course Price: £100 per person for a 2-day course
Taking the first steps into the hills can be liberating yet daunting experience. It's not just about navigation, knowing which items to pack in your rucksack or how to safely cross rough terrain can make all of the difference to enjoying your day. This course runs through navigation, route choices, equipment choices and where you have the legal right to roam. Nearly all of the instruction takes place outdoors, and you will have plenty of opportunity to practice your new skills as the weekend progresses.
The Hillcraft course takes place in the hills of North Wales, and your instructor will be one of our qualified
Mountain Leaders. You won't even have to take notes as we will email/post information sheets to you after the course. We will email/post a recommended kit list to you when you book your place on the course.
The Hillcraft course is held in the area of the beautiful Clwydian Range. It is an AONB, but still has easy
access to main roads. We can provide lists of local accommodation options
if you are traveling from further afield.
